Miniature Light Cords & Plugs
End to End Christmas Light Sets: This type of Christmas light set cord contains a male plug on the beginning end of the Christmas light set cord and a female plug receptacle on the other end of the Christmas light set cord. This set of Christmas tree lights is most commonly used.
Note: Only 2 sets of the same light set maybe plugged into the Female end of an end to end light cord. Example: Using a 100 light end to end light set, you could only continue to plug two more sets of the same 100 light set into the female plug receptacle.
Add on Christmas Light Sets: Commonly known as a stackable plug set. This type of Christmas light set cord contains one Male plug on the beginning end of the Christmas light set cord and in most cases the cord ends with a Christmas bulb that pertains to the set of Christmas tree lights. This set of Christmas lights is used in Pre-lit foliage to include Christmas Trees, Christmas Garlands and Christmas wreaths. Often used in many styles of specialty and novelty Christmas lights.
Note: More than two sets of the same Christmas lights maybe stacked in an add on Christmas tree light set. Example: If using a 50 Christmas light set, you could stack as many as 17 Christmas light sets depending on the amount of amps being produced by the main power source. Plugs & Fuses: GKI / Bethlehem miniature commercial Christmas light sets contain two 3AMP/ 125 Volt fuses inside the plug base. The fuse protects against overload and power surge. Should a Christmas light set fail the fuses inside the plug should be checked first.

35 Christmas light set – 22 gauge wire -3.5 volt bulb – 24 watts = .200 amps:
Home has 20 amps for one outlet, you could plug 100 Christmas tree light sets into outlet before you either blow the circuit at the electrical box or the 3 amp fuse in the plug of the Christmas light set. *Note* Stackable plug only – not end to end.
